Suppose the affiliate product you’re looking at promoting gives you a commission of $20 for every sale you make through your affiliate link. Assuming the sales page converts at 1% we can tell that you can’t afford to spend anymore that 20 cents per click and that’s just to break even.

This sort of initial ground work is critical before you start any affiliate marketing campaign but so many newbies to affiliate marketing fail to do this. Before you get too excited and dive right into affiliate internet marketing it’s a good idea to invest a little into your future online business. Whether that’s through researching free forums or purchasing a product that will teach you the process behind affiliate marketing.

Too many newbies to affiliate internet marketing that don’t know what they’re doing blow all their cash with basically no return on their investment to leave the game for good. If they’d just spent a bit of time educating themselves the outcome may have been entirely different.
